Sarah was born in Canada’s arctic, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. She spent many years traveling all over the globe, studied film and communications at the University of Calgary, and now works and resides in Vancouver, British Columbia as a writer and photographer.



Jake completed his undergraduate degree in Anthropology at the University of Toronto before heading to New York where he finished his MFA in English and Writing at Southampton College of Long Island University. He then moved to Vancouver where he wrote web copy for a marketing firm and began pursuing his own environmental interests. He currently works as a freelance writer and contributes to various publications on topics ranging from renewable energy to poker strategy.



After receiving her undergraduate degree in English from Cal State University Long Beach in California, Laura completed her MFA at Southampton College of Long Island University where she taught freshman English while working on her thesis, a collection of short stories. She has since served as a reporter for a local newspaper and editor for a national magazine as well as a leading online gaming company. She currently lives in Vancouver, BC where she works as a freelance writer for multiple online publications.



David, an environmental enthusiast since he can remember, graduated with a degree in Audio Engineering from the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording technology before touring around the world playing guitar in a band. During his travels he soon realized the lack of compassion many people had towards sustaining life on our planet. After educating people on topics relating to sustainability, and how easy it was for individuals to make small changes in their lifestyle, they became not only intrigued but excited. Thus, Sustainability Ninja was born – a portal for sustainability news and education.
